Hello from the Multiverse team!
We’re excited to announce our monthly updates series, starting this September!
We are delighted to introduce two new additions to the Multiverse team - Jon Rice and Lynnette Goh to kick start this series. Jon joins us as our Editor-at-Large, with Lynnette managing content.
Jon was most recently Editor-in-Chief at Cointelegraph, the largest global media company in the crypto space. He previously co-founded Crypto Briefing and has over 25 years of experience in publishing, marketing, and growing startup businesses.
Jon explains that “I’m joining Multiverse for two reasons. First, this team has proven experience in scaling major businesses. Second, I’m a firm believer that extraordinary ideas and exceptional people can come from anywhere, and Multiverse’s mission to include founders and investors from underrepresented communities is a perfect use case for blockchain and AI technology.”
After training under one of Singapore’s most prominent writers, Lynnette has over 5 years of experience in creating, driving, and managing viral content in the lifestyle, automobile, beauty, and fintech spaces.
As we grow, we're always looking for top-class people to join us in empowering founders and investors around the world. We're aiming high... and always interested in hearing from talented people! If you know someone who should know more about us, please reach out to people@multiverse.ai.
Here are some of our updates for the month of August:
The lion’s share of development is focused on preparing for the launch of Staking Part 1. This gives the community the ability to discover and directly support promising startups in the Multiverse ecosystem using the AI token. We’re working hard to ensure that it’s an intuitive, secure, and seamless experience.
Our development team has been improving the user experience across the Multiverse platform: we’re exploring adding a component to support tooltips and smoothing pathway transitions from our home page to account dashboard/registration. We’ve also investigated and resolved MetaMask’s differentiation issues with our AI and in-network tokens. Transferring in and out of Multiverse is now more straightforward.
Suspicious transactions have also been investigated, mitigated, and cleaned up to ensure safety and security on our platform. We’ve also rolled out 2-factor authentication for the Multiverse portal; you will receive prompts to enter a code sent to your Multiverse email address to complete withdrawals.
In addition to being listed on KuCoin, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, Blockfolio (now FTX App), and TradingView in May, the Multiverse AI token is now on imToken for more accessible monitoring.
We remind Multiverse supporters to check your local regulations before interacting with the AI token. A list of prohibited regions can be found in our terms of service.
If you’re residing in an access-enabled country, please look out for our upcoming SAFT/SAFE backing launch!
Multiverse’s mission to create access to capital markets for founders around the globe continues to resonate with the big guns of the venture capital world.
We also announced in August that Samsung Next has joined our list of investors, alongside Arrington XRP Capital, Huobi Ventures, and Fenbushi! Thee current round will go towards expanding our capacity across engineering, research, and marketing!
For those of you in our community who are itching for more Twitter updates, we hear you! Our paucity of Twitter activity was admittedly somewhat ironic given that one of our co-founders led a team at Twitter. We're growing our Marketing team and have recently brought in our new content manager so we can hopefully overcome our Twitter shyness.
We’re also updating our website, and we’ve been creating additional content channels. We’re excited to announce that our official Discord and blog are now up and ready! For Discord, we’ve specially developed a deep learning-powered marketing bot to encourage constructive participation, among other things.
As part of our efforts to grow our global community and ensure everyone has access to accurate information, multiple country channels are up across Multiverse’s Discord. We’ve also implemented community guidelines to ensure safe and productive sharing on our official Multiverse Telegram group.
With a new Korean Telegram group and the recruitment of more local community managers, we’re focused on efforts to keep our community an inclusive one.
While things might seem quiet on the surface, our teams around the world have been hard at work, powering through August to get our infrastructure right. After all, we’re in it for the long haul - building a global platform with solid foundations.
